COAST Laboratory

Posted: 18th March 2017

On Tuesday 14th March, 14 Mount Kelly Lower Sixth Physicists spent the afternoon at the Plymouth University COAST facility under the tutelage of Dr. Jon Miles, Associate Professor in Coastal Engineering.

The pupils experimented with the Coastal Basin, a structure that allows sediment transport and coastal structures to be studied at scale in a controlled environment, as well as learning a little about university life to boot.
