Mount Kelly Swim Squad had the following younger swimmers take part in the DCASA Development Galas over the weekend of 6th and 7th June at the Life Centre, Plymouth. They were:
Stephanie Carpenter, George Collins, Charlie Cunningham, Isabell Davis, Charlotte Davis, Nicole Dunn, Millie Heal, Annabelle Hess, Charlotte Love, Katy Miles, Peter Ray, Charlotte Ray and Charlotte Tilney.
This is an important event for our younger swimmers and they showed some great determination producing plenty of personal best times. Medallists were:
Gold: Charlie Cunningham in the 12 year boys 200m breaststroke in 3.30.06
Bronze: Stephanie Carpenter in the 10 year girls 100m IM in 1.35.93
Charlie Cunningham in the 12 year boys 100m breaststroke in 1.38.06
Annabelle Hess, Peter Ray and Charlie Cunningham all managed 4th place positions in the 200m breaststroke, 200m backstroke and 200m freestyle respectively.
Mount Kelly swimmers are now looking forward to next Saturday 13th June which is the last day of the DCASA Development Galas 2015.
