ESSA Swimming Championships

Mount Kelly had seven swimmers representing the South West Division of the English Schools at the recently held English Schools Inter-Divisional National Swimming Championships in Leeds in early October.

The South West Team came 4th overall which resulted in them winning the trophy for the most improved Division. Mount Kelleians Oliver Taverner, Eddie Maddocks and Thomas Brew also helped to bring back to the South West the Trophy for the intermediate boys.

5 x Gold Medals: (National Schools Champions)
Ben Staig 100 BK (56.88), Jack Plummer 200IM (2.21.13), Ollie Taverner 4×100 Med Relay (67.28), Tom Brew 4×100 FC Relay (56.10), Eddie Maddocks 4×100 FC Relay (55.29)

2x Silver Medals:
Jack Plummer 400IM (5.06.37), Georgina Dennis 4×100 Med Relay (61.23)

5x Bronze Medals:
Georgina Dennis 100 FC (61.40), Ollie Taverner 100 & 200 BR (67.70 & 2.26.49), Kaylee Dekker 200 Fly (2.25.99), Eddie Maddocks 100FC (54.87)
