Handel’s Messiah

Posted: 29th March 2017

The Mount Kelly Choral Society is going from strength to strength and last Saturday tackled one of the most challenging works in the repertoire, Handel’s Messiah.  The choir is made up of members of the community and is un-auditioned.  Supported by a professional orchestra and conducted by the Mount Kelly Foundation Director of Music, Julian Jensen gave a memorable performance of this wonderful piece which also featured singing teacher Bianca Phillips as the soprano soloist and a number of staff and pupils in the orchestra.  A packed St Eustachius’ Church gave a well deserved ovation at the end of an evening of high quality music making.
