On Friday 24th February, a jam-packed audience of pupils, parents and staff was transported to Hollywood as the Music Department presented an evening of "Music from the Movies" in aid of this year's School charity, Open Hearts Open Borders.
The event was the brainchild of Year 9 music scholar Marcus Coleridge and featured performances from the Concert Band, soloists and an upbeat finale from the Blues Brothers. Donations for the evening totalled £600, a magnificent achievement by all the performers involved, but especially Marcus for driving the project forward.
