The Rugby 1st XV, having beaten Kingsley School (64-12) in the first Round, have now progressed into the third Round of the NatWest Vase Cup following another win (34-5) this week away at Penwith College, Penzance. The victory was based on very solid defensive work by both forwards and backs giving the team the platform to run in six tries from Johnny Williams, Ben Grove, Jackson Kennet, Freddie Williams, Angus Faint and Jack Morris. The team now faces either Crediton School or Torquay Grammar in the next round which we are hoping will be a home fixture.
