Tavistock Sings!

Posted: 3rd May 2018

Pupils from across the Foundation took part in a wonderful concert in St Eustachius’ Church last night as part of the Tavistock Festival.

The Junior Choir performed Sherman and Sherman’s ‘A spoonful of sugar’ and Menken’s ‘Friend like me’.  They were followed by the College Choir, singing Elgar’s ‘Ave verum’ and Fjellheim’s ‘Fairest Lord Jesus’, accompanied by soloist Carys.  A delightful instrumental interlude was provided by the Mount Kelly Concert Band, performing Zimmer’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and the medley ‘Wild Westerns!’.  The concert was rounded off by an outstanding production of Beethoven arr. Warren’s ‘Joyful, joyful’ by the Massed Choir, with soloists Charlotte and Marcus.
