21 pupils and eight members of staff were out on the north moor on Sunday 20 November, tackling a route from Okehampton Army Camp to Postbridge as part of their Ten Tors training.
The weather was mostly kind with only a couple of sharp showers, including some hail, but the pupils coped admirably and were able to develop their map reading and navigation skills.
They also gained some familiarity with the challenging terrain that will be encountered during the event itself. Another successful day out in the hills.
