West Devon Schools Cross Country

On Thursday 10th October, Mount Kelly entered 17 pupils fromYears 7, 8 and 10 into the Plymouth and West Devon Schools Cross Country Championships held at Centre Park in Plymouth. Mount Kelly took five medals: James Lamb won the Year 7 boys, Amelia Riggott won the Year 7 Girls, Sophie Main came second in the Year 8 Girls and Euan Botham came second in the year 8 boys. A special mention should also be made to Natasha Farrington who not only won the Intermediate Girls event, but also beat all the senior girls in the same race! Out of the 17 athletes entered, nine have qualified for the Devon Schools Championships to be held at Stover on Saturday 21st January. Well done to one and all!
