Well done to Lauren Dawe in the Sixth Form, who recently entered a national competition organised through the Royal Geographic Society in memory of distinguished Geographer, D W Smith. Lauren’s essay on ‘the challenges faced by cities in the developing world in their efforts to become sustainable’ was only narrowly pipped to the post for the winning prize.
