Heidi and Martha Littlejohns represented Mount Kelly at the Hereford Pentathlon this weekend, competing in show jumping, fencing, running, shooting and swimming. This was the first event for both girls and is the first time that the School has had pentathletes competing in this event. Both girls were in the Under 13 class and performed very well indeed:
Martha jumped clear in show jumping, had a great fencing competition, achieved a Personal Best in the Swim (35.72 50m) and the Run/Shoot to finish on a score of 3944 points out of a ‘perfect’ 4200, to come 3rd overall.
Heidi had a great ride, but unluckily had the last fence down, fenced well, achieved her Personal Best in the Swim (38.81) and the Run/Shoot to finish 4th overall with 3888 points out of a ‘perfect’ 4200.
Well done to them both.
