Friday 19th June saw the 10th anniversary of the Year 7 Amazon Patrol Craft Race at the College. The race has always been an exciting and noisy event, being the culmination of a years’ worth of work in Design and Technology, learning about the Amazon and then making a scale craft that would be suitable for rangers policing the Amazon. Pupils make all the moulded body parts themselves using a vacuum former and then assemble all the parts using workshop machines and tools building skills and confidence.
