The Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment

Mount Kelly were privileged to welcome the Central RAF Swing Band on Tuesday for a performance in the School’s Melvin Hall.  Pupils from Years 7 to 10 were treated to a lively and varied programme including classic swing numbers by Count Basie to a big band singalong version of Let it go from Frozen. The band are on tour around the South West from their base at Northolt in Middlesex. Mount Kelly Director of Music, Julian Jensen, said “We were delighted to offer such a high quality live music experience to our students.  It is a vital part of their musical and cultural education to experience a wonderful variety of music at first hand.”
