Congratulations to Dan Gillard in the Upper Sixth who was at St. James's Palace on Tuesday 2nd February to receive his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. His certificate was presented by olympic swimmer Cassie Patten, who spoke to Dan about his time as a swimmer in the Mount Kelly squad. He was also lucky enough to speak to HRH The Earl of Wessex who was very interested to hear about his expedition to Kosi Bay, South Africa, with the School in July 2014.
