Pupils at the Prep Visit Amsterdam

Posted: 10th November 2017

On the first Saturday of half term, 29 pupils from Years 6-8 and their teachers boarded a midnight coach to Dover; the Mount Kelly trip to Amsterdam had finally arrived.

The itinerary for the next four days saw adults and children alike delighted and impressed by the wonders of this beautiful cultured city. Highlights of the trip included a canal cruise, a very moving visit to the Anne Frank House, an exciting bicycle tour of the city, and fascinating tours of Rembrandt Huis, The Rijks Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. A wonderfully noisy evening was also spent in a typical Dutch restaurant, followed by an enjoyable wander through the cobbled streets, admiring the beautiful architecture of the canal houses.
