The 16 Mount Kelly swimmers who travelled to Crawley to represent the South West of England at the English Schools Inter-Divisional Championships enjoyed a highly successful weekend. The squad brought home five trophies, winning the Senior Girls category, Senior Boys category, Inter Boys category and Most Improved Region and helping the South West region to finish second overall.
Mount Kelly entered the most swimmers of any school in the country at this event, once again highlighting the strength of our squad.
The School Mount Kelly also had a further 65 swimmers competing at the Millfield & Street TYR Super Series which marked the start of the 2019 National Qualifying Window. There were many great swims across the weekend, starting Mount Kelly’s campaign towards another highly successful long course season.
Good luck to our swimmers racing at the Plymouth Spring Open Meet this weekend, as well as the 25 swimmers flying out to Greece on Sunday for the British Championships preparation camp ahead of the most important competition of the year in the British Swimming calendar.
