The remote learning programme in the summer term was successful in keeping all of our pupils in classes, but it was not possible to run our usual internal examinations. A return to school in August has allowed us to schedule a full set of late summer exams for Year 13 this week and Year 11 next week.
These exams are an opportunity to assess where the pupils stand at the halfway point in their A Level or GCSE courses, and to set the right tone for the academic challenges ahead.
