Mount Kelly’s Ten Tors

Posted: 3rd September 2021

Following the cancellation of the official Ten Tors this year, Mount Kelly organised their own event over the first weekend of the summer holidays.

Ten pupils completed a 45 or 55-mile route in uncharacteristically challenging conditions for July, even for Dartmoor! Visibility was non existent at times, however, all of our pupils did an excellent job with navigation, and their teamwork was exceptional.

We look forward to the official event taking place once again in 2022 and would encourage any interested pupils in Years 9-12 to sign up for training.

Congratulations to Emily, Barnaby, Jack and Finlay for showing true Mount Kelly spirit and completing the 45-mile challenge, and to Izzy, Persephone, Luca, Thomas, Tyler and Joe for completing 55 miles.
