On Saturday 9 October, 30 swimmers represented Mount Kelly in the first round of the National Arena League, marking the start of their campaign to defend the title proudly won in 2019.
With the recent return to competition, in order to limit travel across the leagues our swimmers raced alongside Exeter, Barnstaple and Truro in our home short course pool. Their times will be taken and compared with their actual competitors who raced elsewhere on the day. It was the first Arena League for a number of our swimmers. Mount Kelly won all except one of the races on the day and now await the results of the virtual gala.
The following day, our athletes competed at the Life Centre for Day 3 of the Plymouth L3 short course meet, securing a further medal hall of 52 medals and more than 80 PBs.
