As part of road safety week, Kingfishers and Herons were visited by paramedic Mr Salisbury to talk about the important job he does and to show the children his ambulance.
They were also excited to have a visit from officers from Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, who talked about road safety, took the children’s fingerprints, let them try on uniforms and showed off their police vehicle too.
The week has included a visit to Tavistock to practice crossing roads, looking at zebra crossings, crossings with lights and courtesy crossings. The children were delighted to watch the Tavistock Christmas tree being erected by a large crane!
