Upper Prep Trip to Barcelona

Posted: 19th April 2023

At the start of the Easter holidays, 35 Upper Prep pupils enjoyed a busy few days in Barcelona. The itinerary included a visit to the Picasso museum where pupils had to find three paintings which they will study in Art this term; a tour of the Sagrada Familia to appreciate its stunning architecture; a boat trip along the coast; and a tour of Camp Nou stadium. This was one of the highlights of the trip for many, with pupils returning home with Barça shirts and sweatshirts.

There was also time to explore the city with a visit to the Boqueria market, which was a feast for the eyes and tummies with pupils buying local food to try. Churros con chocolate was the definite winner of the day! A fantastic time was had by all.
