The first Mount Kelly Cultural Exhibition took place in the College Library today to provide pupils with opportunities to share their own culture and learn about the culture of others in the school community. Pupils were encouraged to submit a wide range of items to reflect their culture, such as art, poetry, clothing, photographs, recipes, or a piece of writing about a historical event, an important cultural figure, or a festival or celebration.
All pupils at the College and Year 8 from the Prep visited the exhibition and were encouraged to participate by adding a sticky dot to show where they have lived on the world map, to add their favourite food to the flip chart, and add the languages they speak to the Word Cloud.
