11 Mount Kelly swimmers were selected to represent the South West in the 2015 English Schools Inter-Divisional National Championships which took place at Sunderland Aquatics Centre over the weekend.
There were some fantastic performances by the South West Team with many excellent swims coming from the Mount Kelly swimmers. The list below demonstrates the achievements of our swimmers at this National competition four weeks prior to the 2015 British Summer Swimming Championships
Julian Chan Quee Lin: Gold in the 200m Freestyle, Gold in the 400m Freestyle, Gold in the 4×100 Free Relay & Bronze in the 4×100 Medley Relay
Oliver Taverner: Silver in the 100m Breaststroke & Bronze in the 4×100 Medley Relay
Alex Seymour: Silver in the 200m Butterfly & Bronze in the 4×100 Medley Relay
Lauren Hession: Bronze in the 100m Freestyle & Bronze in the 4×100 Free Relay
Kaylee Dekker: Bronze in the 4×100 Free Relay
Taku Chaza: Bronze in the 4×100 Medley Relay
Donovan McAntagart: Bronze in the 4×100 Medley Relay
The other swimmers on the South West Team from Mount Kelly who all set personal best times in their individual races just missing medals were: Ben Staig, Tom Brew, Georgina Dennis & Jack Plummer
