Posted: 1st October 2018

The Chamber Choir visited Italy to compete in the Grado International Choral Festival and came away with a Silver Diploma in recognition of their excellent performances.  The Festival also gave the pupils an opportunity to listen to other choirs from around the world including Sweden, South Africa, Israel, Indonesia and Poland. On their way back to the UK, the Choir visited Venice for the day and were privileged to sing for Holy Mass at St Mark’s Basilica in the evening, including music written specifically for the building some five hundred years before.
