Swimmers from Mount Kelly’s orange squad and the learn to swim program travelled to Winchester on Monday to compete for a place at the IAPS Championships Finals which will be held in June at the London Aquatics Centre.
For some of our swimmers this was the first time representing Mount Kelly swimming and they all did a fantastic job. Swimmers competed fearlessly against other schools in an individual event, including 25m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke, and 50m freestyle, as well as the 100m Medley relay and 100m Freestyle relay.
Our swimmers displayed superb race skills and sportsmanship, executing swims tirelessly throughout the morning and coming out on top from the qualifier.
We look forward to finding out who has qualified for the finals.
