Pre-Prep Pupils raise over £2k for charity

Posted: 29th February 2016

All the children in the Pre-Prep (from Nursery to Year 2) took part in a sponsored ‘Runathon’ in the Sports Hall on Friday 12th March in aid of the UK charity MACS (Micro & Aopthalmic Childrens Society). Organised by pupils in Year 1, the children linked the event to their ‘healthy living’ topic and made healthy snacks for all the runners to enjoy afterwards.

Well done to all the runners who, between them, raised the fantastic sum of £2,326.88. This will be added to further sponsorship raised by local resident Mrs Carmel Nye, who is running the London Marathon in aid of MACS.
