Gold and Silver Duke of Edinburgh

Posted: 5th July 2019

Over the last two weeks, 45 pupils have completed their Gold and Silver Duke of Edinburgh assessed expeditions.

14 pupils traveled to North Wales on Monday 24 June where they enjoyed spectacular scenery and reached the summits of Tryfan, Snowdon and Moel Siabod.

A further 31 pupils headed to the Brecon Beacons the following week to complete their assessed walk for the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award.  Despite some warm conditions, all of our pupils showed great resilience and fantastic team work throughout. All of the teams summited Pen y Fan and Fan Lila during the three days.
