We are located in Tavistock, Devon on the Mount Kelly independent school campus but we are open daily to the public for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountkelly.com\/swim-centre\/timetable\/\">timetabled\u00a0<\/a>sessions and lessons.<\/p>\n<p>We have two indoor swimming pools:<\/p>\n<h2>50m Swimming Pool<\/h2>\n<p>The Olympic Legacy 50m\u00a0Pool was built in 2016 and was officially opened by the HRH The Princess Royal.<\/p>\n<h3>Pool Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>8 lanes<\/li>\n<li>8 Olympic starting blocks<\/li>\n<li>Underwater 5m sprint markings<\/li>\n<li>Anti-wave lines<\/li>\n<li>Pool Pod to assist with accessibility<\/li>\n<li>Whiteboards<\/li>\n<li>Clock<\/li>\n<li>50m long x\u00a016m wide. Shallow End 1.2m.\u00a0Deep end 2m. Pool area 800m<sup>2<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Capacity 1.353 million litres<\/li>\n<li>To keep the 50m pool crystal clean, clear and requiring fewer chemicals we have 8 sand filters, 2 UV filters and use CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0to maintain the pH balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>25 Metre Swimming Pool<\/h2>\n<h3>Pool Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4 lanes (Olympic width)<\/li>\n<li>4 start blocks (one Olympic)<\/li>\n<li>Anti-wave lines<\/li>\n<li>Whiteboards<\/li>\n<li>Clock<\/li>\n<li>25m long x 10m wide. Shallow End 1m.\u00a0Deep end 1.85m with a gradual slope.
