Year 4 pupils enjoyed their India day on Tuesday 1st March. Arriving dressed in some fantastic outfits, pupils explored the theme of India through various workshops including music, geography (studying an Indian village) and art (exploring Hindu Rangoli patterns and painting Mehendi hand designs). After a delicious Indian lunch, pupils faced a maths challenge (called ‘All About Nothing’) which got them thinking about the digit zero. An Indian-disco fusion dance session provided a fun and entertaining end to a great day.
