Our Rugby Course has been developed to provide players with and unforgettable rugby experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

Mount Kelly is based in Tavistock, Devon and on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. It is a 45 min drive to some of the best beaches in Britain. Players will have the unique opportunity of experiencing high end rugby coaching in an idyllic setting.

Our coaches, including Mount Kelly Head of Rugby, Pale Nonu, are passionate rugby enthusiasts, with an eye for detail and an understanding of the importance of the values that only a sport like rugby can teach.

The players will be assessed at the start of the week and be put into groups according to ability, age and social requirements.

The course will culminate in a fixture day, where the players will enjoy a full match day experience from wake up to after match dinner.

During the course, a number of workshops, trips an activities will take place in addition the rugby training. The workshops will provide the players with a glimpse of what it is like to be a professional rugby player and the trips and activities add an extra fun dimension to your child’s stay.

  • Using gym equipment eg light kettle bells, TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercise), cycling machines or rowing machines

  • BBQ

Simply Outdoors and Trips

Your child has the option to take part in high ropes at the on-site outdoor adventure centre, Simply Outdoors. High ropes is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in this activity should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.

Declaration

Mount Kelly or Simply Outdoors will not share any information or data collected with any third parties. In my opinion, my child is fit and able to take part in the Rugby Course activities. I give my consent to using over the counter products if required such as paracetamol, Strepsils, antihistamine or cough linctus, administered by the Rugby Course Matron or First Aiders. I understand in an emergency every effort will be made to obtain consent for treatment, operation or anaesthetic, but if this proves impossible, I authorise the Head Coach, Rugby Course Matron or Simply Outdoors staff to act in loco-parentis. A copy of the Mount Kelly and Simply Outdoors current Certificate of Public Liability Insurance can be provided upon request. Either company cannot accept liability arising from circumstances undisclosed in this Consent Form.
