With practical work in Science up and running again, our Upper Sixth Chemists have been making up for lost lab time by completing a series of assessed practical tasks.
This week they have worked to gather data that will allow them to determine the rate equation for a reaction by two different methods. Next week they will start to synthesise aspirin in the laboratory.
These experiments will allow them to put the theory learnt in the virtual classroom to work and will see them tick off another vital chapter in the completion of their practical endorsement, a certificate awarded alongside their A Level results demonstrating their competency within the laboratory.
