Mount Kelly Model United Nations continues to go from strength to strength. This year saw the largest delegation of fifteen MK Sixth Formers representing a diverse range of countries in committees related to their future ambitions. Pupils debated contemporary global issues ranging from climate change on Earth to the challenges surrounding putting people on Mars and everything in between. Pupils had the opportunity to negotiate and build coalitions with delegates from over 100 other countries around the world. The delegate social at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History and exploring the Oxford Christmas Market were just a couple of the highlights outside the packed conference schedule.
The Year 11 delegation has selected their committee and country representation and are getting excited for their opportunity to advocate for a better life on a healthy planet.
