Inspiring Nature Education Conference

Posted: 25th March 2026

The recent Nature Education Conference proved to be an inspiring celebration of curiosity, collaboration and the vital role that nature plays in education. Bringing together teachers, school leaders, specialists and partners from across the region, the conference created a dynamic space for sharing ideas and shaping the future of nature-based learning.

From start to finish, the atmosphere was energising. Our guest speakers delivered thought‑provoking sessions that challenged us to rethink how we embed the natural world into everyday teaching. Their expertise, passion and generosity in sharing their experiences made a profound impact on attendees, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to each of them for helping make the day so powerful.

A particular highlight of the conference was the outstanding contribution of the pupils who took part in delivering sessions. Their confidence, insight, and genuine love of nature brought the programme to life in a way no adult alone could achieve. They reminded everyone why this work matters and their impact was clear, delegates repeatedly commented that the pupils’ involvement was the most inspiring element of the day.

We are deeply grateful to all attendees for engaging so openly in discussions, offering new perspectives, and helping to build a collective vision for the future. The sense of shared purpose across schools and organisations was truly uplifting.

As we look ahead, we are excited to continue developing these conversations and ideas as we move the programme forward. The conference has sparked momentum, and we are committed to nurturing this enthusiasm, strengthening partnerships and expanding opportunities for children and young people to connect with the natural world in meaningful ways.

The Nature Education Conference was just the beginning and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next.
