The clearest of blue skies favoured Year 7 and Year 8 of the Prep on Tuesday 16th June for their visit to the Minack Theatre. As they drove into Cornwall the Devon clouds dispersed and by the time they were playing on the beach at Porthcurno, the temperature had risen and it felt like they were on a Mediterranean beach! The beauty of the open air Greek theatre continued the illusion, and the play they saw, a modern day version of the story of Narcissus, easily transported them to the mythical island of Thespia. They had a great day, meeting up with the Year 8 pupils who were enjoying their post-exam camping trip.
