The inaugural event of the Wider World Lecture Programme on Thursday saw former pupil Tom Lawson and teammate Guthrie Fenton give a fascinating account of their South American challenge earlier this year. Cycling over 8,000 miles in 155 days with two friends, they raised over £90,000 for charity; their story will have undoubtedly inspired many of the next generation of Mount Kelly pupils to rise to challenges and have adventures of their own.
