Annual OMK Hockey Match

Saturday 2 December saw the much-anticipated annual hockey fixture between Mount Kelly's 1st XI girls and the Old Mount Kelleian ladies' team. 

Mount Kelly dominated the first part of the match, scoring twice, however, the OMKs came into their own after half-time. They challenged the pupils to a very closely fought and competitive second half in which they scored one goal, but were unable to equalise despite some near misses.

Spectators and players alike were pleased to warm up with post-match lunch and teas after the game, and it was a great opportunity for our alumni to catch up with staff and old friends, as well as chat to our current pupils.

We are grateful to the OMK ladies, many of whom travelled long distances to come back to Tavistock, as well as staff member Becky Lamb and parent Alex Davis who also joined the team.
