Conway Sea Training Award

Congratulations to Elinor, Christopher and Dominic who have been awarded a Conway Sea Training Award.  Sponsored by the Conway Merchant Navy Trust, all three have secured fully-funded places on an eleven day Tall Ships Youth Trust cruise from Portsmouth to la Coruna and back to Portsmouth, this summer. 

All three pupils made very strong applications, and this will be an extraordinary adventure for them – the more so given that none of them have experienced deep-water sailing before.  Paul Reeves, who oversees the award on behalf of the Conway Merchant Navy Trust, spent some time with the pupils earlier in the week, and commented that “they will be great ambassadors for Mount Kelly and the award scheme.”
