Congratulations to Mount Kelly’s Director of Swimming, Emma Collings-Barnes, who has been named UK Coaching’s Talent Development Coach of the Year.
Emma was praised for creating a culture that encourages everyone to be themselves, and for placing happiness, health and well-being at the forefront of her efforts. She comments, ‘I’m shocked but delighted. This year has been about rolling with the punches, taking each day as it comes and making sure the athlete is at the forefront of everything. It has been a challenge, but I’ve got a great team around me and it’s actually been enjoyable in a strange way.’
