Pupils at the Prep were invited to participate in the Silver Readers scheme over the Christmas holidays in association with Home Instead Senior Care.
The children were matched with an elderly person and contacted them each week to read stories or poems or to simply have a chat about their lives. Many of the pupils enjoyed the experience and some have offered to carry on during lockdown.
