Bronze Industrial Cadet Awards

Posted: 29th April 2022

Last term, two Year 9 teams worked towards their Engineering Development Trust (EDT) Bronze Industrial Cadet Award.

Both teams produced written reports, designs, and models for their projects, in which they designed two unique products aimed at improving sustainability and car security. Through their excellent work with mentors from Plymouth-based Schneider Electric, and their presentations to the judges, both teams have won places in the UK final to be held at the University of Bath later this year.

They have now graduated as an Industrial Cadet at Bronze level, a widely-recognised skills-based accreditation inspired by HRH The Prince of Wales. We wish both teams the best of luck in the final.
