Students in front of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris

Year 7 and 8 pupils were offered a fantastic opportunity to spend a long weekend in the beautiful city of Paris at the beginning of half term.

The itinerary included sight-seeing on a bateau-mouche, spotting many of the famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Pupils visited the Arc de Triomphe, strolled down Les Champs Elysees, and enjoyed the ride to the top of  La Tour Montparnasse and its incredible view of Paris. Other highlights included the Sacré Coeur and watching the Champions League Cup Final in a French Brasserie, where pupils embraced the atmosphere and had great fun! The final day was spent enjoying the attractions of DisneyLand Paris.

The pupils enjoyed the trip tremendously, honing their French language skills, cementing friendships and making lasting memories for the future.
