Thirty pupils took to the moors on Sunday 2 October for their first Ten Tors training walk of the year. They entered the Abbots Way Walk, a tough 23-mile walk organised by Tavistock Youth Forum from Buckfast Abbey to Tavistock College.
The weather was pretty grim when they set out, but quickly improved with waterproofs swapped for shorts and t-shirts. A fantastic effort by lots of our younger walkers, with the majority finishing and earning their pasty at the finish.
