Twenty Mount Kelly swimmers took part in the Swim England Inter-County Championships in Sheffield last weekend, with 16 swimming for Devon, and one each for Yorkshire, East Wales, Cornwall and Shropshire.
Team Devon finished fourth overall with some exceptional performances in a closely fought contest. Highlights included an Open MK record from Erin in the 16/17 100m Freestyle, whilst Matt, Leah and Fergus all won their 100m Backstroke events and Flawia won her 100m Butterfly. Mount Kelly’s Rikki Morris was the Team Devon Head Coach for the weekend and was immensely proud to be part of such a hard-working team.
