A team from Mount Kelly ventured to HMS Raleigh last weekend to compete in the annual CCF RN National Regatta against teams from schools across the UK.
Our cadets were fortunate to have trained at Jupiter Point the week before so were not caught out by the spring tides. Lily and Rosie placed 4th in the two-handed Argo class and Morgan finished 5th in the single-handed Fusion class.
It was a challenging but enjoyable weekend of racing, and the CCF looks forward to returning to HMS Raleigh in the summer for more dinghy sailing and training for next year.
