Mount Kelly was delighted to welcome representatives from Tavistock Memory Café to the Head Master’s Assembly on Monday morning. Selected as our school charity for the last academic year, the Memory Café provides locally based support to those living with dementia, as well as their families, carers, and friends. The Mount Kelly community raised a phenomenal £4,812.56 for the charity through events including the Summer Ball, Prep Band Gig, Cabaret Night, MKPA Quiz Night, Christmas Mufti, Bonfire Night, Sports Days and the Jubilee Bake Off.
The Mount Kelly Parents’ Association baked and donated cakes to the Tavistock Christmas Tree Festival. The festival organisers have thanked the MKPA and were delighted to have raised £13,000 from refreshments, sponsorship, entry tickets and candle sales!
