On Wednesday, 12 brave CCF cadets joined forces with Lipson School to tackle HMS Havoc, a realistic simulator of a sinking battle-damaged ship at the Royal Navy’s training facility for damage control. The cadets’ challenge was to work in teams and use wooden wedges, hammers and brute force to slow the water water ingress and save the ship. The afternoon offered an introduction to Royal Navy firefighting.
