Following the completion of their summer assessment week, seven teams of Year 9 pupils headed into the Tamar Valley to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh assessment walk.
All the teams navigated through some tricky terrain with footpaths, bridleways and minor roads crisscrossing the routes. A number of teams found themselves navigationally challenged at times but they always found their way and every team successfully completed the planned route.
All teams were self sufficient throughout the walk, carrying everything they needed for two days and an overnight camp, including all food, tents and cooking equipment.
A fantastic effort by everyone.
