Year 12 pupils benefitted from an excellent visit to the University of Plymouth on Wednesday.
Taking part in the personal statement workshop means that all pupils are now prepared to start drafting their own personal statements which will be sent with their UCAS applications in September.
Everyone was impressed with the excellent facilities on display during the campus tour and the fact that Plymouth is ranked the 5th best institution in the world for the study of Marine Biology.
The student finance talk gave pupils important information regarding the cost of university education, along with a timeline of when they will need to apply for funding. A very engaging talk on student life delivered by current students at the university finished a very informative day.
Once again, we are very grateful to the staff at the University of Plymouth for their time and expertise.
