The 1sts got off to a reasonably slow start however they lead the quarter by 7 goals to 3. In the following 3 quarters they settled into their own game and played some textbook netball with the passes easily being distributed throughout the court. We dominated Plymouth College and in the second quarter won 11-1 and bettered that in the third winning 11-0 with excellent defending preventing Plymouth College to score any goals.
The team gelled together and took advantage of the big lead to build and put into practice tactics learnt during games time in the week. Georgia Donnelly, Amy Lloyd and Lauren Ross worked tirelessly in the centre court whilst at both ends of the court the defensive duo Lauren Dawe and Rosannah Morel and the attacking pair of Meg Benton and Claudia Smith defended superbly and shot accurately.
