On Thursday 30 November, Year 5 pupils enjoyed an interactive History Day. Claudius Maximus from ‘Roman Exeter’ brought the past to life with his Roman discipline, interactive timelines and dramatic kit and equipment demonstrations. Pupils learnt about placing Romans on a timeline, the structure of the Roman army, weaponry, the Guard and discipline. The highlight of the day was a re-enactment of a battle between the Romans and Ancient Britons.
